Message from your County Supervisor

Rio Linda and Elverta are two unique communities that share the green pastures and rural roads of the northernmost section of the county. Both are close-knit communities whose residents enjoy plenty of room to live and grow. The patchwork of agricultural properties, the Dry Creek Parkway and the historic Dry Creek Ranch, Cherry Island Golf Course and Gibson Ranch are cherished by residents and non-residents alike. Community improvement projects underway or about to begin include the redevelopment of the historic Rio Linda Train Depot as a visitors' center. The center will serve as a hub for local bikeway enthusiasts and provide a community meeting place.
