  • Community Planning Advisory Council
The Orangevale Community Planning Advisory Council (CPAC) is a volunteer organization that advises the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors on local issues and concerns facing the citizens of Orangevale. The councils provide a forum for review of proposed amendments to plans, zoning matters and use permits. The councils are advisory only to County agencies and the County Planning Review Boards.

The CPAC also works closely with the Fair Oaks and Orangevale Community Area Service Team (FORCAST). FORCAST is comprised of County employees and serves the unincorporated communities of Butterfield-Rivera East, Fair Oaks, Gold River, Mather, Orangevale and Rosemont. The CPAC functions as an outreach and resource program to resolve local problems and issues throughout the area.

  • Fair Oaks/Orangevale Community Area Service Team
We're here to help answer any questions you might have about County services available to the Orangevale neighborhoods. FORCAST works closely with the Orangevale Community Planning Advisory Council (CPACs) as an outreach service program. For example, if you had a neighborhood graffiti problem, FORCAST will direct work directly with the community to address the issue.

FORCAST team members include Sacramento County and community agency employees. To find out the team members assigned to your community, click here. Their mission is to work together to identify and address county and community issues occurring in Orangevale neighborhoods. View the FORCAST brochure.
