Community
Planning Advisory Councils have been
created in the unincorporated areas of the County to facilitate
and invite citizen participation with the planning process regarding
the present and future development policies affecting their community.
The councils provide a forum for the review of proposed amendments
to plans, zoning matters and the use of permits. The councils
are advisory only to County agencies. The council's geographical
area of responsibility corresponds to the community planning areas
established by the County.
